Chelating agent specifically for acidizing operations.
Function: Chelates iron ions (Fe³⁺/Fe²⁺) generated from formation dissolution by acid and tubular corrosion. Prevents hydrolysis and precipitation of iron hydroxide when spent acid pH rises, which can plug formation pores and fractures. Ensures acidizing stimulation effectiveness and avoids secondary reservoir plugging damage.
