Amphoteric/cationic viscoelastic surfactant (VES), core functional agent for self-diverting acidizing in carbonate reservoirs, polymer-free, solid-free residue.
Function: For diverting acidizing in heterogeneous carbonate oil/gas wells, uniform acid distribution in fractured-vuggy reservoirs, and deep acidizing stimulation; solves issues of acid channeling through single layer and insufficient stimulation in low-permeability layers.
1. Appearance: Brownish yellow/light yellow homogeneous transparent liquid, no stratification, precipitation, or impurities
2. Live acid viscosity (15% HCl, 25°C, 170 s⁻¹): 1.0~5.0 mPa·s (low viscosity for easy pumping)
3. Peak viscosity after viscosity increase (90°C, 170 s⁻¹): ≥150 mPa·s (temporary plugging and viscosity increase after acid-rock reaction)
4. Broken spent acid viscosity: ≤5.0 mPa·s (self-breaking upon contact with hydrocarbon/formation water)
5. Spent acid interfacial tension (spent acid-crude oil): ≤2.0 mN/m, aids flowback and prevents water blocking
6. Compatibility: Miscible with 15%~20% HCl, corrosion inhibitors, iron stabilizers, clay stabilizers; no stratification, flocculation, or precipitation after 48h static at 25°C
7. Core damage rate: ≤10% (polymer-free residue, low reservoir damage)
